Desigual is characterised by its distinctive, optimistic and colourful designs. The firm began life under the leitmotif ‘Desigual, it’s not the same’ in 1984. In recent years, the company has recorded sustained annual growth of greater than 50% and employs 3,500 people from 83 different nationalities. Desigual closed 2011 with a world presence of 275 Desigual brand stores, 7,000 multi-brand stores, and 1,800 corners in department stores in more than 71 countries.
